London is the plan but I'm more and more willing to relocate to some other major EU cities like Berlin, Frankfurt, Brussels, etc. Depends on where jobs open up and how much of an itch I develop for travel. Will stick around in Sydney for at least the next 12 months though. |
Berlin's full, fag nuts.
Seriously though, don't even think about coming here. As Meat said, there are no jobs whatsoever. Of the considerable amount of expats I hang around with, very, very few of them are working "proper" jobs rather than ty bar jobs, hostels, et cetera. I've been essentially unemployed for 6 months.
Have you thought about somewhere in Holland? After all, you're a fair trancecracker. :p |

I wouldn't move without already having the job secured, princess ;)
That's the whole point of transferring, rather than moving somewhere and working in hospitality while trying to find a "career" job.
Also I'm really not all that much of a tranceracker as I may have been years ago. |

That's good then. Highly recommend Berlin. In particular, if you come over here with lots of Australian dollars saved, it's ridiculously cheap and you will live like a king. I know you spend a lot of time in Croatia. Berlin's not quite that cheap, but its prices are far more Eastern European than they are Western. I pay 400 euro per month for two large rooms in a shared flat, including all utilities and unlimited internet. We're about three kilometres from the Brandenburg Gate (i.e. the centre of the city).
If you do come, give me a yell and I can help you navigate the treacherous German bureaucracy. |

Will do man. Sadly, I think it might be a while before it happens.
Then again, I may just crack it soon and just resign to go travelling :p |
