Sadly they were not in my possession at the time.

Oh, speaking of police, one of my neighbours had his car parked probably 20 feet from my apartment the other night. He goes out the next morning, it's on bricks, all of his tires are missing. He calls the police to file a report, the only person who saw anything was another neighbour of mine - pretty harmless guy, smokes a ton of pot, has this great Husky named Fluff - well they run a background check on the guy and find out he has an outstanding warrant for a traffic ticket or somesuch, and arrest him.
What. the. .
So glad we're all much safer when the cops are doing their jobs. |
Ouch. I mean I can understand them arresting him for the outstanding warrant but that is really rough. Did they at least continue with the investigation about the car?| quote: | Originally posted by Lira
Screw democracy
I'm all for freedom and whatnot, but when I'm forced to wake up early in the morning and vote... well, I'm angry Lira. |
Can't you just go later? When does voting end? |

I could, theoretically, but the queue is enormous in the afternoon, so I had to choose between waking up early and being there just for a few minutes and going there later and waiting in the line for an hour or so.
Still, what really gets on my is that I'm forced to vote along with mass of apparent retards who keep electing some of the most corrupt lowlife politicians in Brazilian history. Just so you can have an idea, a former senator renounced a couple of years ago because he was caught in a scandal and didn't want to be prosecuted. He tried to run for governor, the judicial system barred his candidature because he had way too many lawsuits against him, he put his wife in his place even though she's never worked in public administration... and she has just been elected for the 2nd round. Mind you, this guy turned the outskirts of Brasilia into a giant slum and blames the founder of the capital (who died decades ago) for having created the city :wtf:
Just 7 of all 10 senators we have ever elected remained in office until the end of their terms - all the rest renounced. What the hell is wrong with people?! |

He got rid of his car. Why would you pay for your traffic violations if you no longer have a car/license anyways unless you're a wormy little bureaucrat?
Oh.
It's a wonder...

Continue with the investigations on the car... I don't know, I'll have to check with the boys down at the crime lab. I guess they're working in shifts. |

| I hope a homeless man breaks into your house and garnishes your bed with feces the next time you're away at work. |

:haha:
Hopefully there won’t be too much fecal matter, I mean these people hardly ever eat, right? |

He will be very well fed after he raids your fridge and smokes all your pot.

Since you have such an affinity with poor people and the downtrodden (you know, when it suits your rhetoric), perhaps you’d like to adopt a few homeless people and teach them to defecate in my house? |
