It's not disgusting. People who throw their buts wherever is disgusting, but I am inclined to think the same thing about people who might throw water bottles wherever they want. Oh no, drinking water is disgusting! |
Water doesn't have a burning smell. People also don't walk around spraying water out of their mouth after every sip. If they're drinking flavored water, they're not forcing you to smell it. |

You must have dealt with disrespectful s who subjected you to the toxic smell of their cancer stick.
I managed to hide my habit from everybody for years. I always smoke outside, alone. And wash hands/chew gum after every cigarette. I despise the smell. You would never know unless I tell you/you see me doing it. That's how smokers should be. If they wish to harm themselves, let's not drag everybody along in the process. |

I once had a really mentally challenged guy blow smoke on me and a friend. The funny thing is that my friend said something like "Let's go over there, some people know no respect" and walked away. The guy chased us and reminded us that "we live in a free country".
I bet he learnt to debate on the internet :D

I think the proper term is... Heineken. |

I don't really care if people smoke, since people can do whatever they want to themselves, but I do worry about my friends and family who smoke since I don't want them to die early :(
I do, however, dislike second hand smoke. It makes it a bit hard for me to breathe, I don't like the smell of cigarettes, and I don't want to get cancer myself :p |

if it gets to the point where I'm not satisfied with things I'll just call it a life. |
That's my take on it too. No point prolonging it if you've had a good life and know it's only downhill after a certain point. |

I thought I would have issue with all the smoking in Japan, second hand smoke, etc. I really didn't though.
On the other hand I was so sick the whole time that I couldn't really smell anything... :tongue3 |

| My asthma really acted up for the 2 weeks I was in Tokyo. I got much better when I got to Hokkaido. |

People think it's such a macabre thing to say or even think. that. I don't want to suffer nor be a burden on whoever is taking care of me until I expire.. if there is absolutely no hope at all that I will get better and I'm just deteriorating into a dried up shell of my former self, I see no reason to continue existing. |

I was much annoyed by that. The concept of "second-hand smoke" doesn't seem to exist there, and I often witnessed smokers chimneying it up next to kids and the like. |

Yea, but Japanese just live longer. If they didn't smoke they'd all live to be 120 and they'd REALLY have an old-peoples crisis! |
