Back from Melbourne. Wasn't as cold as I thought it would be.
I swear it feels like I wasn't even there though, I'm so used to travelling these days. Luckily I'm only back for 3 days before heading off to Croatia on Sunday for 3.5 weeks :D
Also, a perfect job opportunity came up for me internally. Regional Marketing Leader - Asia Pacific. Ok, so you need 10 years exp in pharma, 5 in marketing, preferably an MBA, finished all the internal courses and numerous other things but it....I'm perfect for it! :stongue: |

I have to fax something to the UK today and I've got no idea what this 0 is doing in the fax number.
+44 (0) 5505505555
so it will be 011 for overseas
then 44 is the country code
Would anyone mind telling me wtf the (0) is for? |

I am pretty sure that 0 is necessary, but I could be wrong. The 0, if I am not mistaken, would be ignored for UK dialers. |

the zero is if you are local.
locals dial (0) 5505505555
overseas dial 011 44 5505505555
the expert has spoken. |

I wish Delta didn't have such cheap ass flights to the West Coast else I would never take them again.
A three hour check-in line caused me to be late for my flight (which is my fault, I admit, I should have known to come much earlier considering it is LAX) so I was shifted to the Special Services line for two hours for an 11:45 flight (which I also missed due to the line), so they placed me on a 12:30am and was told to run to the gate since I had 20 minutes to board. I get to the plane and they tell me Delta had booked me for the 12:30pm flight (but already loaded my bag onto the plane).
I asked if I could get on the midnight flight, which wasn't full, and they said no. I was told to just sit in the airport and wait until the next plane. No voucher for a damn $3 bagel or anything. :whip: |
