| woo. I need suggestions for a book to buy to read on the plane. Anything from good compelling autobiographies to sports to music. Any good suggestions? Contemplating getting Anthony Kleidis (can't spell his name off the top of mny head at this time) |

Notes from the Underground, by Fiodor Dostoevsky. Short, profound, entertaining. |

I'm generally not much of a reader because when I pick a book up, I can't put it down until I've done with it but since I'll have 9 hours to around with and not piss off the person sitting next to them by talking my arse off.
thanks jenny :) I'm tempted but it depends what's there when I get to WH Smith's at the airport. My other option is to drop a couple of what the doc gave me & sleep it but I don't sleep well on flights, even night ones I'm generally the who is air-drumming away to his mp3s. |

Yeah we were there for 8 days, and I paced myelf more than my friends. I read Scar Tissue over 2 days at the beach and in my hotel room. I also read half of A Million Little Pieces, and half of Memoirs of a Geisha. :p |

heh
it's slightly spooky actually. found out that last night my cousins neighbours son died in a motorbike crash. We'd warned her a few weeks ago after we saw him speeding on the wrong side of the road not wearing a helmet or any protective clothing. She shrugged us off saying that he was perfectly safe on the road, but he collided with another motorbike last night and died. He was only 17, what a waste of life |
