I'm sorry, but that's rubbish weather damn near anywhere else short of an arctic region |
perhaps but when you're coming off the back of a winter where it went down to -16c at night and you couldn't even open the doors cos they'd frozen shut, even 10c felt good. Obviously it's not warm but with the humidity we get, warm doesn't feel good either, so the late teens are prime for us. I like dry heat, so obviously wouldn't like stusland but might be able to cope with WA or SA. |

If he drops 40pts of IQ, gets older, he might be able to impersonate IGK though ;)

WA and SA are horrible for other reasons. |

Jeez, so late teens are out of bounds in England? That hardly seems fair.
I might have a few warrants out for me, from 10 years ago :p |

so how are they? I think Ben is an ok guy and echosystm and they're from adelaide. Plus with family there, i'm more likely to stick up for it. Perth, well friends from growing up moved there, and i remember the weird people from there from auta like slade & escee back in the day. |

Well you're already missing the hair, now all you need is a rotten sense of humour :D
Don't worry about the warrants, chances are if you where poking late English teens, she's probably already got 2 kids and your a possible candidate out of 10 fathers.

Old texts are often a pain in the arse. I like the ideas behind Goethe's Faust but I can only read this kind of stuff for so long :(
Really... "forbear thy howling, comrade so noisy, ever growling"!? How hard is it to translate that into contemporary English and just say "shut the hell up, you stupid annoying dog"? |
it shocks me that a linguist can hate poetry :eyes:
it's not about what's said, it's about how it's portrayed, that's the joy of the written word isn't it??
btw: do you read the last page of books so you don't have to get stressed about what might happen? :p
similar to plato's ideas, it's about exploration of your own beliefs more than the discovery of a real alternative...
in terms of plato, it's more about how you conceptualise the real world. if you're an anti-realist (as i am) you should find plato's insights pretty interesting... it's metaphysical angle i disagree with (the idea of absolute truth), but i think the casting of complete doubt upon everything we know is completely relevant. an anti-realist could essentially claim to be in the cave. there is no objectivity, just shadows of a truth we can't grasp because of our human condition. |

Slade still posts mixes quite regularly, and they ing rock. Not that you'd know, since you never grace the lovely and charming DJ Promo forum! |

| i use the dj promo forum for my mixes & those of my friends and those who mix my 'type' which isn't many nowadays. He was funny back in the day, used to be a bit of a troll, he was always a good dj though, if not playing my tastes of music. I used to whore the au forum when things were different. there were some good people there back then & it was a laugh, esp when Sid claimed they'd win the ashes 5-0 in 2005 :p |
