Yes you do and if you actually did some decent travelling, you wouldn't say that.
I've lived in 3 countries and counting plus travelled to countless others. You simply cannot experience the majority of the cultures without actually being there. TV/books/internet can give you a guiding hand but they are nowhere near a substitute. |

The Pacific Northwest is absolutely gorgeous, I'd love to live there myself, were it not for the outlandish living costs. Though it is by no means the most beautiful place I have ever visited. It's great to have pride in the place that you live to a certain degree, but for 's sake Noubers, get out of the ing shire for once in your little hobbit lifetime.
In any case, our skiing is much better, you . :p :p
//The south is gorgeous as well, even the deep south. The people tend to be... simple, but how does that affect you? Let people live how they like, just... well, yeah, revoke their voting rights. :x |

Never said the south wasn't pretty in a lot of places, definitely a different kind of pretty, but still pretty.
But since we are social creatures and out lives more often than not depend on the interactions with the people around you... Living in the south seems like it would be far more than trying.
I mean even compared to the east coast cities that are considered more liberal, like Philly or Pittsburgh in the mid east coast the PNW is far and away more liberal. My history teacher last quarter was from the east and he said "I thought I was liberal, but when I moved out here, man I felt like a fascist!" |

You'd probably be surprised at how much you agree with the essence of most southerners. They're typically pretty nice people, very welcoming and hospitable when you show like manners - I mean, so long as you're not walking around telling them they're stupid just because of their geographic location. You know - like most people.
I like how you seem to hold liberalism is such esteem though... all the while being openly intolerable of a great variety of walks of life and locations. You're far more conservative then you think that you are - I mean, just look at the word, itself. You're vehement in your prejudice and your overwhelming pride in your location where you were born, raised, and will likely die. Huh, sounds exactly like the kind of lifestyle you're ideologically rallying against. Funny that. |

I personally prefer the look of the south, especially the southwest.
Barren landscapes and fiery sunsets in a dry atmosphere.
The PNW is a beautiful and impressive place to visit. I especially love the beaches. My mom's sister and brother both live there, but I wouldn't want to. Too much rain, not enough open vistas for my taste. |
Try the east side of the mountains... Its a desert! :D

| I've been watching Batman: The Animated Series all day. I loved it when I was a kid, but never realized just how awesomely epic it truly was. Totally geared towards adults. |
