Because whining is better than working!
Think about it: whining gives you more opportunity to whine while work takes all the fun away! |

So we dropped our buddy off at home last night after spending the evening swimming and playing Mario Galaxy 2. We turn onto his street and see cop cherries ahead out front of what looks to be his apartment. We get closer and see that there are indeed 3 cop cars in the street, surrounding his apartment. I suggested he just come back to our place, but he says nah he's just gonna go right in his place and lock the door.
I get home and get a text saying the front door was busted wide open, pool of blood on the floor, and his neighbour's door is open too.
I told him that on the way back home we noticed that one of the cop cars was smashed right into the side of another vehicle on the street beside his apartment.
I try calling and can't get a hold of him, but he sends me another text saying that he overheard the police conversation...something to the effect of "There were 2 black guys, both of them were buck naked in there."
LOL
So I check the police news listings today and this is what happened:
Occurrence Type: Robbery
Occurrence #: BA10031140
Date: Sunday, July 18, 2010 - 11:00pm
Details:
Around 1100pm on Sunday evening three males attended an apartment building on Gunn St where they broke into an apartment and assaulted and robbed the two tenants. The culprits then tried to flee but the responding Officers where able to stop 2 of the suspects after they tried to run over two uniform Officers. The suspects vehicle had collided with a responding Officer's vehicle preventing the Officers who where on foot from being hit. Both suspects were taken into custody. The third party had fled on foot but a K9 Officer with the assistance of other Officers commenced a K9 track. The third suspect was apprehended as a result of the track. The victims attended RVH for treatment of minor injuries. A 24 yr old and a 26 yr old from Toronto as well as a 24 yr old from Barrie are in police custody as a result. The occurrence is still under investigated at this time.
Best guess is drugs were involved. There's no way these dudes would drive up from Toronto just to commit robbery at some hole apartment, lol. |
