| No I wasn't part of the SARS pandemic. |

Alright, Miss Pie. I'll let you win this one.
I really do nitpick everything you say, regardless of how well you support it. [/SEEWHATIDIDTHERE?=AFFIRMINGTHECONSEQUENT] |

| This is why I generally stick to cock/fart/your mom jokes. It's a far less demanding way of interacting with you fags. |

| Awww, discussion is difficult for Miss Pie. Let's everyone comfort Miss Pie! |

| Sounds like your mad. Don't go all slylee on us and we'll try not to pick on you. |

Lay off, igk. She took a class.
That's entirely different than slylee reading a Ft. Lauderdale Herald opinion piece on Kobe Bryant's clearly sociopathic behaviour and suddenly being able to diagnose Jay with a personality disorder. |

| Actually Hal, disaster risk and emergency management theory was integrated throughout my entire degree. And the few electives I took outside of my core nursing courses were specifically about disaster and emergency management. So kindly off. Or don't. If you have nothing better to do I suppose I'm flattered that all you can think of is to ride my ass about . Very cute. |

Those are my only options? off or don't? :stongue:
Obviously I'm wasting your time. You're a big goddamned expert when it comes to charities. Classroom education obviously bestows a remarkable acumen on every possible perspective!
No, but really, please off yourself. You claim to not participate in any semblance of discourse because it's useless arguing with the collective "other" you perceive to stump your perspectives with ignorance, when it is in fact you who is afraid of any genuinely dissenting opinion.
Don't get me wrong, here - we're certainly not going to change the world by bickering on Tranceaddict.com. But that's the fault of everyone but yourself, huh? |

Well that'd be a pretty ridiculous criteria.
But no doubt, that is just what her training and considerable education has been in - treating victims of disaster as a medical professional. The effectiveness of charitable donation is still an argument well enough out of her realm of expertise that I think we're all on an even enough level to discuss it on an open forum, despite her claim to be the end-all opinion upon the subject. |

I just gotta be honest and say I'm not exactly sure how Pie arrived at the tangential thesis she's advancing, that she's not being taken seriously enough; that her arguments are always picked apart. I'm not even convinced that it's relevant to her argument. Even if I agree with her original thesis, it looks more like she's just spoiling for a fight, right now.
Taking the above into consideration and having read Whoever Fights Monsters by Robert Kessler over fifteen years ago, I'm prepared to diagnose her with Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder. |
