I really love stuff like Facebook, Orkut, and Twitter. Though most of the time they look useless to outsiders, I found out some acquaintances are much more awesome than I took them to be, and today I just visited a friend that didn't really have the time to tell everyone she was around - so she just tweeted for her friends to see :)
Besides, it's much more cosy to see everyone as real people than as strange screen names with funny pictures :p |

my memory is so good that most of the time I'm like "who the are they?" but I've added most who I remember existing and who I don't think are complete tools.

I pretty much only add people that I either used to hang out with a ton / still hang out with a ton / want to keep track of / are good friends with online. I can't stand the people with like 1,000 friends who just add everyone they come into contact with.

Was out last night with some mostly female friends, a few more of their friends turn up........ turns out to be 2 guys who I play poker against.
So me and one of these guys are chatting away, I know from stories he tells at the poker table that he has got impeccable game, he looks at the group of girls we're with and goes "see that chick in the white? I'm gonna have sex with her". Walks straight off in her direction (he'd never met her before right then). The way he said it was a dead ringer (minus the accent) of the rockstar guy from Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Son of a bitch did as well, about 5 minutes later.
This is about 3 minutes after he was telling me how he'd ed one of the other girls a little while back, thereby completely ruining her for me:whip:
The disturbing thing is now I know faces to some of the stories he tells...... |
