"C'mon, bro. Be a mod."
"Uh-O-Ok."
Stu attempts to wrap his lips around the outer edge of the bong.
"No dude your lips go in it."
"Uh-O-Ok."
Stu takes a half-decent rip; a noble effort.
"How do you feel?"
Stu enters a conscious carousel pertaining on how to properly respond without sounding stupid or pretentious and to fit the vibe of his surroundings. A minute passes. The noises of the crowd begin to feel heavy. Laughter is heard from the corner; Stu scolds himself for whatever he did to be laughed at. He wonders how he can splice together a funny comment to brush off being laughed at with his answer of how he's feeling, for efficiency. A group of girls enter the room and Stu enters a mental blank.
"Pass it here bro."
"Uh-O-Ok."
Stu is struggling the analyze the body language of those around him.
"So what do you do in your spare time?"
"I um. I-um ph-photograph birds."
"What?"
"Y-yeah. Um. Um. Do you listen to trance?"

| I have a habit of writing anecdotes in the manner of whomever I'm reading at the moment. I've already done Faulkner, Nabokov, and D.F.W. a few times. :p I guess you could say it's practice. |

I dunno, I did have some good cracked out early mornings. Other people hated to see the sun come up, but I kind of enjoyed it. There's a certain clarity and peacefulness that I feel after having stayed up the whole night with my brain all wired.
Perhaps I'm perverse. |
Count me in. I absolutely hate seeing the sun come up, even if I'm sober. |

I can't bring myself to read that book because it has been compared to Ulysses, which, as everyone knows, is complete and utter .
...
Also, I find it increasingly hard not to blindly hate on anything that pseudo-intellectuals might like. :( :o |
