| It's only because Nou goes on about it like what he's doing is so much better and smarter than being a fully independent adult. Just because HE can't do it, doesn't mean that most other people can't pursue their dreams/goals and support themselves at the same time. |

Exactly. He has the mindset that what he does, nine times out of ten, is better and smarter than others. Let him think that way and enjoy never being truly independent while you go pursue and achieve your dreams/goals. |

| I also have to laugh that he authentically believes his only option is to use his parents' money. All that proves is how stupid he is. Like really? He couldn't manage to find a decent paying job that would allow him to support himself while pursuing his goals? It isn't ing rocket science, lol. A smart, talented, charismatic person can make anything happen for themselves and not cry about how hard it is. |

Real life is too hard, darnit. Being an adult pretty much sucks. But I am doing it anyway. |
It is too hard when you give others too much power to boss you. Otherwise, it's quite swell. When I think about it, I can drive, I own a(n old) car, I live with a girl I find incredible (and I've seen her naked, oh yeah!), and I'm paid to do what I like.
Sometimes I feel I'm the luckiest teenager ever, just 10 years too old :p |

| Not calling him a pathetic cave-dwelling loser would be enabling, imo. :o |

True, I am pretty much a peon in life. Not any quick or simple way to fix that, though. |

Jesus christ you are as dumb as cat . I never said I couldn't do that.
Listen closely retard.
I WORKED FULL TIME.
I TRIED TO PURSUE SIDE PROJECTS.
WHEN YOUR SIDE PROJECT INVOLVES DOING THE SAME SORT OF YOU ARE DOING ALL DAY AT WORK YOUR MOTIVATION IS MUCH LOWER TO GET DONE.
I am speaking from experience here. I worked full time, a decent paying job, and I tried to pursue other projects on the side, but I found that after getting home from coding all day the last thing I wanted to do was sit down and open up an IDE and work on MORE code.
So what are you trying to argue here? I worked a full time job that was able to support me, in fact before I realized the company I was working for was going down the tubes I was in the process of looking to buy a house (WITH MY OWN MONEY WOW!).
All I am saying is that when I am working full time on this project already (and its barely getting close to completion at that work level), how would you expect me to work TWO full time jobs doing pretty much the exact same stuff and not get burnt out on one or the other? Do you have any experience programming? No. You do not. Its not a day job where you go and you can let your mind wander and come home and do something more mentally stimulating. If you are working any sort of decent programming job you are constantly using your brain, its a non-stop job mentally.
So why would I not use what advantages I have to do what I want? When you come down on me this hard it reeks of almost an envy that I actually have the ability to persue what I want to do on my own terms. So why this strong concern for how I do things? I haven't put any one down here on how they reached their goals have I?
So quit being a dumb cunt Jenny. |
