haha nice, too bad they didn't mention him in any of the programs on Rally Mexico. Nice going, I wonder how many other cars were there in his category, and what were they? |
There are only 3 categories in WRC. There is the Jr., production, and Super 2000. Super 2000 is 2000cc or smaller motors. Jr. is Super 1600 class, and production is everything else. All classes have homologation requirements, so they are all technically production machines. He ran in the same class as the Impreza and Evo. |

Winter's already over - spring officially began last Saturday. And that is why the forecast is up to 7-11 inches tonight and another 3-6 tomorrow. All before noon. I'm going back to Florida, even with the spiders. |
I'm sure that will make your lost love down there happy :) |

A soft spot isn't nearly enough to quell my rage! You'll pay for this atrocity! |

Interesting. I've thought for a while now that we'll have the first commercially viable quantum computers within the next fifty years. I cancelled it some time ago, but I used to have a subscription to New Scientist. Each month they always seemed to report on a small but significant advancement to QM. It's that or nano technology which will make the next huge change to society I think.
I've never considered it prior to just now, but has anyone ever proposed that these quantum experiments are somehow bypassing or nullifying the dimension of time, causing us to observe the subjects in all possible states simply because it's impossible for them to exist in just the one without time?
For example, if you viewed a person's life without the aspect of time, it would be impossible to see them as only alive or only dead, because they'd simultaneously be both. |
NS is great, I regularly grab a copy to read. Might actually take out a subscription.
The latest one had a fascinating article about why humans lost most of their hair and how it had an impact on the development of a larger brain and the evolution into the humans that we currently are.
The physics stuff is usually pretty damn sweet too, especially when it's linked to outer space. |

Actually it also covered the question of why we still have hair in some parts, like the "puberty" areas and the scalp. The armpits and groin to minimise friction by providing more secretions, and the scalp to stop overheating from the sun.
So guess what, bald people are actually inferior as they are more reliant on shade. |

If you've got half a brain, you'd be reliant on shade anyway. Especially in Australia :p |

Oh, great. Yesterday I went to bed 7 AM because I had to work on my dissertation. Now I'm going to bed 4 AM because I'm all stoked up about my next tune and wasted a couple of hours playing with "My Opera".
I had fun, why am I complaining? :toothless |
