A word for what exactly? Being more productive when distracted? Sounds like ADHD to me. :p
Also wait, does that mean that with every Para Para Mix I contribute to your PhD? Holy ! :wtf: :eyespop:

I'm rather a fan of how Meat is constantly giving Lira grief for his flaky ways, yet the conversation between the two is incoherent to all but them. What is a Para Para? How does one Euro Dance? How many comics must you illustrate about another person before it's officially considered a marriage proposal?
So many questions!

No, a word for being more productive when listening to Happy Hardcore. Something like "Himmelkreuzdonnerwetterhypermuziklassmichallthisgoddamnstuffmachen"?
Also, yes.

"Zappelphilipp der bei akustischer Vergewaltigung gschaftlhubert wie Schmidts Katze"
And this is the better version:
Somewhere I also have a mash of the original with Ame - Rej lying around. :wtf:

I think of Lira as something like my evil twin brother. I wouldn't be surprised if in a twist ending we turn out to be one schizophrenic person. He, of course, is the dark side.
Lira
Yeah, that's the one I wanted, cheers :p
OMG, I remember this version! I once heard it on the radio when I was, like 12 or something, and I wanted it so bad but completely forgot all about it after a while. Thanks for reminding me :D

Hmmm... I had something similar with Juanita (Arbiter). She's the sour hyper-rational twin and I'm the warm emo-humanist twin... we're triplets then?
What does that makes us? The hippy, the bad, and the happy?

Do you actually understand any of it? I guees most of it would be hard to find in a dictionary.

I just bought the Wahrig Wörterbuch der deutschen Sprache a couple of hours ago (70% off!)... and Google Translate renders that as "Fidget with the acoustic rape busybody like Schmidt's Cat", which is already amusing enough :p
ps.: Ich verstehe ein bisschen Deutsch. Hast du schon vergessen? ;)
Meat187
Zappelphilipp: Reference to a well known story of that title about a hyperactive kid. From the verb zappeln.
gschaftlhubern: Bavarian slang for pretending to be very busy. Surprised google translate could do something with that.
Schmidts Katze: from "abgehen wie Schmidts Katze" for doing something with a lot of enthusiasm.

Oh, I assumed it was an actual name. Like Frank Zappel :p

Want yet another surprise? Dict.Leo got that as well, actually. It was the one that really puzzled me, to be fair... so I assumed the final "n" was what made that into a verb and went from that. That's it, right?

Ooooohh... so my understanding really was way off the mark. I thought the cats were being somehow raped because of the "Vergewaltigung" :D
Meat187
wut? "acoustic rape" is a way to describe loud, fast and energetic music. Like this:
Lira
Oh, that's why I didn't understand what the cats were doing... and somehow I thought that meant I'd have a lot of explaining to do to the vet :D
It all makes sense now :p

Sweet Jesus, Lira. This thread is practically begging for you but I guess you're just too good for informal linguistic anthropology!
