it's slightly spooky actually. found out that last night my cousins neighbours son died in a motorbike crash. We'd warned her a few weeks ago after we saw him speeding on the wrong side of the road not wearing a helmet or any protective clothing. She shrugged us off saying that he was perfectly safe on the road, but he collided with another motorbike last night and died. He was only 17, what a waste of life |
That's pretty rough. Though, anyone who thinks they're safe on a motorbike is asking for it, IMO.
Despite the bad taste element, I'll break into song.
"When I was seventeen...." |

Imagine a circle that contains all of human knowledge:
By the time you finish elementary school, you know a little:
By the time you finish high school, you know a bit more:
With a bachelor's degree, you gain a specialty:
A master's degree deepens that specialty:
Reading research papers takes you to the edge of human knowledge:
Once you're at the boundary, you focus:
You push at the boundary for a few years:
Until one day, the boundary gives way:
And, that dent you've made is called a Ph.D.:
Of course, the world looks different to you now:
So, don't forget the bigger picture:

aye, & lol at pkc.
the thing is, I've known his mum since I was about 6 & she's a lovely person who did a damn fine job in bringing him up but -at that age they never listen and he's paid the ultimate price. Not a lot you can do really but it really hasn't shocked me at all as it would for someone who you knew at least tried to be safe.
Darn sarth of landan now. Bout 2 miles or so from gatwick in a lovely guest house, got a good menu on for tonights dinner and the footy in HD and then sleep. Excited as hell, I feel sorry for whoever sits next to me on the plane. |

I just woke up and today is the 16th
I thought yesterday was the 17th
and now I am given an extra day
what the is going on
If everyone says it is the 16th it is the 16th right?
I am going to get a Ph.D in physics
once I invent time travel you can all thank me later until then keep calling me crazy and I will go crazy for I am on the edge of humans finite existance and there are many of you who do not believe in time travel
I laugh at you
I know your ignorance is little to nothing in a world of physics where the mind travels daily in time

Yeah I have no clue there. Roland, Korg, M-Audio, Yamaha, and probably some others are pretty great, but don't trust me. I just know some of the brands, but not what is best/good/decent. |
