I do have class till 1130, but I have another one right after that. So yeah I get a break usually around 10, and again at 1ish. But it's not like I can't leave class for a few mins. |
My class starts at ten. I usually head home around noon, but I have some research to do so I could stick around til 1 then we could grab a coffee or something |

Does anyone ever wonder how some users found their way to TA?
Like Arbiter or IGK...Halcyon to some extent, Mezzir...Lesbianosauridactyl, Theresa. Or even Mr. Mystery...I think he hates everything that miserable prick. |

Swamper's internet balls are so big, they have a gravitational pull. That's the only possible explanation. |

Soulseek. The first thread I'd ever read on here was identifying some song... that somehow segued into the Gina thread. I registered shortly thereafter and made my way over to the gaming forum, where I received positive social confirmation in the fact that the first AVP was scary as . It was all downhill from there.
//Soulseek was hilarious. I remember getting to know somebody through it (briefly) and she ended up opening her C:/ to me (!) whereupon I found, among crude drawings of unicorns and dragons she was intent on my seeing, several shower pics taken of her, by her husband. :stongue: |

If i wanted to reference a phrase in an essay like..
| quote: | | The phrase "what goes up must come down" gets yada yada yada |
what would be the correct punctuation? Do I leave the phrase in quotes, add a coma after "phrase," add punctuation to the sentence within quotations, etc?
Rules For Writers is failing me on this one |

I believe you just leave it in quotations. I don't think a comma is necessary, because you aren't quoting anybody specific, nor are you truly separating any particular thoughts within the quotation from the flow of the original instance. I don't know if that makes sense, but I think you've got the right idea as is.
But I am by no means an English major. See - I started that last sentence with "but". wtfffff |
