cos i've not tried lamb in one yet. I've had steak, steak & chicken, chicken, pork but never lamb. Plus spring lamb is at it's best right now so it's a no-lose situation.
Lil, it'll be drizzled with oil & sat with lots of mint & rosemary beforehand, and some black pepper.

That's not a marinade, that's mildly abusing it with some mundane things you found in the kitchen. Lamb steak particularly is something which does need a bit of a marinade if you're going to be doing that because it can be slightly tough if you cook it fast.

tablespoon of cracked black pepper
tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

ew. worcestershire sauce. it's vile. I'll be tenderising it anyway which generally helps the 'toughness' but our lamb is pretty much perfect with a delicate flavour that you don't need too much fancy with it.
