What happened to the TA girls that would drop their drawers for pretty much any TA? |
Gee, I dunno.
Maybe being grossly objectified by a bunch of misanthropic scrubs, complete arseholes and just plain creepy people finally sank in at some level.
There are some genuinely decent and good humoured folks here, but mostly you're a bunch of duds. |

g'day guys
As only the UK could do, we went from 0c to 14c in 10 days. Yesterday was awesome though, i'm quite ill but enjoyed walking around outside in just my t-shirt. No hoodie, no scarf, no gloves, no hat, no 4 layers. Spring is hopefully on the cusp of letting itself out. Wherever global warming is, I think I need to move there. Preferably canada so I can enjoy tim hortons & ice-hockey with it :p |

Lulz, Melbourne could do that. Possibly in the middle of summer, too.
If it was 14C here, I'd be in jeans, t-shirt, hoodie, and possibly a beanie (hat or toque? Whatever y'all call them).
I remember the wind in England though. Goes right through you. It's just not quite the same here :p |

| oh yeah. a week or so ago it was coming from the north east and it was bad. It just has this cold damp grip that s with you. Beanie is also an acceptable term :p But i've been wearing mine since november ish and needed it, it was a brutal winter. I'm going to do some winter shopping in canada this year, get some stuff in like good gloves, some base layers & cos they're such a premium here, I'm gonna be prepared for next year even if I don't wanna be. I might just pack myself in my dads suitcase to sydney & adelaide! Still, when you're not well, the small things like sunshine pick you up no end, even if it is still freezing to you stu ;) |

cos honestly it's easy to just know that there's maybe 50 good people on a board of hundreds/thousands and keep coming back. Plus she's the crazy cat lady, every forum needs one of those. |

Don't worry, I remember how depressing the English winter is. I'm sure you can imagine the shock for a warm blooded Queenslander :p
Sorry to hear you're a bit poorly mate, but summer's just around the corner. That'll help pick you up. God knows, it did for me, living in the north-west-ish of Ye-Olde :p |

| Aye. there's 2 or 3 issues which are really getting to me atm. Got hospital for a kidney scan next week, then some tests on my stomach to try and get to the bottom of my issues, which I think I know, Jenny has been helping me out with some advice on that front, since it's not a condition the NHS deal with here, and just having a bit of a bad time in general as I mentioned a week or so ago, but i'm getting there with some good help from friends & family. On the plus side, I mentioned my dads aussie cousin is over and i'm hoping to have dinner with them on friday, been 10 years since she was last over & she's older than he, about 70 now, so I know she may never be back again. |
