its not that much genetics. Ive noticed that everyone in the military has short biceps and its because they all go for weight over form.

less shoulders, locked elbows, up right back. youll be fine.

in my experience hammer curls target the outer head of the bicep, are you sure that info is reliable? cuz for years i've been reading otherwise :conf:

I dunno it makes some sense

try to flex your arm in that position and feel the muscle.. you might be confusing your lateral tricep head with your outer bicep head.

If thats the case please post a reference as i only found that one site.

well i have men's health home work out guide, and i cant find the link to the page i use to read that had an exercise list. but i have always done hammer and reverse curls for the outer head with good success, even the soreness the next day is concentrated in that area

Aye, I always finish with 21s, still the best in my opinion. Zottman curls were great as a 2nd exercise today.

i think i maybe mistaken about the inner and outter heads for reverse curls and hammer curls

your right ive read a couple of artciles quoted by bodybuilders that outer head is concentrated on reverse and hammer curls

either way they should help reduce that gap

:p

well it really was your post that made me do them, so thank you!!

so you think the standing curls are better than the seated? I only tried standing like you mentioned, such a good exercise, can't believe I am just now discovering them >.<
Nrg2Nfinit
seated would be more isolation since you have a back support. Standing you'll involve your back and core muscles more for stabalization
