ive heard alot of stories about people pulling their ACL on the leg extension.. its not recomended by alot of athletic trainers.


that and its not a very functional excercise (unless you're a soccer player)

i do it all the time ive been fine, and i crank the weight on it too. The instructor who i took my personal training course however was in a leg brace due to leg extensions.


Besides, squats are the best for your leg muscles. You want to isolate your quadraceps you can easily just do a leg press with your feet positioned lower on the same plane as your butt.
