Once my finals are over, Im gonna be working out my core like crazy. Gonna try to push out 250 crunches, 100 leg lifts and 50 condensed crunches per day - during the week, on the weekends Ill hit up the gym and swim until my legs give out.

And as time goes by and resistance decreases, Ill increase the numbers. Im not mentioning weights although Ill use them here and there, but putting on the muscle isnt my goal right now.

Also, Deadlifts are not for beginners. I have flattened lower discs and cant do them at all...they really stress your body. If you want a good compound back exercise Id go for T-bar Rows first.

Im not an expert but I found it to be a mistake to leave out deadlifts at first. You have to learn sometime! But you might be right about it not being for beginners. Maybe after a person has started lifting weights and stuff then learn deadlifts. They can infact stress your body and if done incorectly can harm you, but same goes with any other excersise.

Do you guys have any or know any advanced ab workouts?

The only ab workout I cant do which Id like to do is hanging knee/leg lifts.

Privet

Cable Crunches are very effective ab exercises

Then I use decline bench to do crunches and hold say a 25lb plate to make it harder. Works for me

Also check this link it has plenty of ab exercises

I like reverse situps. You hold the headrest and cross legs. Hold ankles out fully extended 4 inches above ground and roll up till knees are behind head and then slowly extend rule :D

Ok, Im having a hard time visualizing this... hehe - I cant picture the motion.

Are my legs going straight up into the air and do I bring them down over my head?

Danila, I never got the point of the cable crunches - its anything but an advanced ab workout and it doesnt work for me.

edit: and cable crunches work the serratus (rib looking muscles under pecs) and help expand the rib cage
