Its a good way to help you mentally during your workout thats for sure.
If you increase the weights regularly it gives you the incentive to push for more the next time, and so on.
New teeny Tiney pic of my progress, been working on the arms and shoulders. Just missing the Lats at the moment, due to lack of equipment down me gym.

Actually been eating properly too recently, trying to gain some mass. |
not bad at all man, you have a great platform to build upon right now as well as a really good skin tone to show off definition. |

I have a confession, I've been so busy the last week or so that I've hardly been eating......and it slapped me in the face today.
I saw a guy I play bball with in the weight room today and he said, and I quote "Have you lost some weight? You're looking pretty skinny."
:wtf:
:wtf: :wtf: !!
Damn what a slap in the face!
So I'm hitting it hardcore and getting back to my normal diet and I'll be posting pics next week. HOW DARE HIM SAY THAT! |

oh man
how dare he!
Only a week? Bah...you have nothing to worry about your muscles just went a little flat, 3 days and your muscles will get nice and hard again! I'm feeling a little deflated myself, went and did some super sets for my bi's and tri's and I was feeling alot better !!
Going to try to hit the gym at 7am with the man tomorrow..get in some cardio and legs. I don't know why...going to the club to see Bad Boy Bill for my best girl's Birthday (Herflyness)so I'm gonna be getting my cardio/workout session then! |

Exactly right! Plus I'm going to jump back on creatine so within 5 days or so I could see a 10 pound swing.....then I'll go back and kick sand in that guy's face! :whip: :whip: Ok, not really.
But I'm definitely looking forward to filling out again and amping the intensity. ;) |

Leg/lower back workout.
Squats 10, 8, 6, 4 reps, 5 heavy forced negative reps, 10 light reps
Sled 10, 8, 6, 4, 10 reps
Seated leg extension 10, 8, 6, 4 reps
Superset
Calf raises 4x15
Leg curls 10, 8, 6, 4 reps
Any two of the following...
Hyperextensions for the lower back
Good mornings
Straight leg deadlifts
Next day quads and definitely leg biceps are sore, and usually calves and lower back are too. The lower back exercises really stretch and work the leg biceps nicely after I finish the leg curls/calves supersets. |
