heres a routine i do for triceps:
warmup : 1 set of push ups (hands closer together to isolate more for triceps)
3 X 8 dips
3 X 8 skull crushers
3 X 8 kickbacks
3 X 8 seated bicep curls (dumbbells, one hand at a time)
3 X 8 seated bicep curls (barbell)
3 X 8 preacher curls
your arms should be pretty aching after this. The tricep excercises develope all three tricep heads (kickbacks target the inner medial head, sjull krushers & dips (lateral and long head). |

As for my progresss, its going alright i guess. I've gained about 3 lbs of muscle and am toning up a bit more. I've cut my routine to 3 days a week at the gym and 2 days a week bouldering (rock climbing)
stats:
5"11
145 lbs

Fark, bouldering is such a good workout
Gonna be starting up again in the next week or so, got some great cliffs close by :) |

How is climbing outdoors with respect to indoors? |

Weirdly enough, I've never bouldered indoors, so I couldn't say :wtf:
Outdoors is sweet, though we're just coming into summer (today was 34 C ...ummm 94 F) so you tend to go in the morning before the rocks heat up. Also pretty good at night, but you get crappy shadowing.

I say you should just bulk up man. 145lbs seems pretty light for your height. |

I really like working out!
I'm starting to notice results too. My bf is trying to build his body a little more...and I always tease him saying that I have better abs, lol.
I'm not hard-core like you all, I'm just doing it to keep fit...but this is what I do 3 times a week. My sister made this up for me, she's a personal trainer, heh:
20 jumping jacks x 3
15 ******s x 3
20 push ups x 3
10 lower leg raises x 3
15 sit-ups x 3
12 standing forward lunges, both legs x 3
20 sumo squats x 3
It's fun! I love to sweat! :D |
