no way...i mean, i will definitely listen to her advice because i'm sure she'll know more about what i need as a woman, but she is way too "fitness model" looking for me, no offense sd. i just dont want that look for me.
i just want my legs to look killer because they already have a nice shape...just need a little toning and the same with my butt..just want it to look a little tighter... |

well see that's what i mean. she does look very fitness model in those pics. i mean she's got the tan and super lean...but that's only for the competition. i'm sure if she posted normal pics of her at the beach from a different time in the year...she'd be a total bikini babe and not look real lean and muscular...a lot smoother like you want. |

well i'd definitely have to see pics, but i'm pretty sure that ppl who look at her (when she's chillin at the beach) think, "damn, she must work out". not that it's a bad thing, but i'm not going for that.
anyway, i'll see what she has to say if she comes in this thread again and sees us talking . lol |

| In the gym doing strength training, what's appropriate to lose body fat and gain lean muscle? More reps w/ an average amount of weight? Also, do any of those body fat powders/shakes really work? Any testimonials from some of the bodybuilders here? :P |

if you gain an additional 10lbs+ in muscle won't it be obvious that you work out? i'm trying to drop ~10lbs and like you i don't want to be the muscular chick but i work out 5/6 days a week and you cannot help but look slightly stronger. |

i would rather just have a nice look and shape to my body to the point where people would notice and think, "she has a nice body", instead of looking at me and thinking, "oh wow, she definitely works out and works hard for that body".
like here's an example...this is wayyy too much for me, and thank god, i could probably never be like this...but even if she softened up a bit, she'd still be too much for me.
i know it's because she's flexing in the picture, but even if she wasn't, look at her abs and thighs...u can definitely tell she's a fitness model or really into fitness. not my cup of tea.

i'm aiming for this...and i have her physique too, just that i'm thinner..

oh and my idea of the perfect ass....even though she's like 6'1 probably (stacey keibler)...but she is the perfect combo of shapely, yet soft..

see people just don't understand.
these girls don't look like this all year round...only for competitions. they have a little more muscle, but what makes them look that way is the basically starvation and dehydration that occurs during competition preperation... |

oh i understand, but i just think it's a bit much for me; i want to be strong but don't want to look really strong. she could gain ~7lbs of fat and still be too much. kudos to her for getting in shape but again that's not for me. |

ok but the fact of the matter is that they DO look just like that at some point in their lives...whether it be only for competitions or whatever, and also that it takes a lot of hard work in the gym to look like that and that's what those girls are all about. i'm not.
if i got in a bikini right now, and flexed just like her, i would look like skin and bones next to her picture. that's because she is really into fitness and has WAAY more muscle mass than i do. she works out...a lot. that's very obvious and that's the bottom line. and even if she softens up a bit, she is always going to have that serious definition even when she's not flexing. she has that, "wow she must work out" type of body. all i'm trying to say is that i'd rather just have a nice "shapely" figure that is more soft, instead of, "damn she works out". |
