that's a seriously nice physique! congratulations!
now get in the gym and get back there and beyond!!!
actually, I'd be totally satisfied if I could get where you were. I'd need about another 15lbs I guess, but I'm having such a hard time crossing 180lbs. Pretty sure it's a diet and not a training problem, but that doesn't make it easier when you have to work a lot and aren't naturally hungry all the time.
My goal is to get to 190 by NYE. |

| Im up to 160 from 150. I want to get another 10 lbs, but like you djdawn am stuck. I have been training hard and eating, but nothing. Its frustrating. Im gonna keep working though. Any ideas on adding some extra pounds? |

| ^^^Gotta try creatine then for sure. You will gain those 10lbs easily with it and with proper training you will have a solid physique. |

I'd rather up the caloric intake. do you really know wether you're getting 2000 kcal or 4000 kcal/day?
there always is a certain amount of calories that will make you gain. Given that it comes from the right foods and you're training hard and resting enough, it will be mostly muscle and some fat as well, but you can loose that afterwards.
my problem is I seem to have a very high metabolic rate and can't seem to eat just as much as is neccessary. sux. I even add linseed oil to my protein/carb shakes for extra calories.
thinking about putting some MCT-Oil in as well, just to raise the total daily calories without risking too much fat. info HERE |

creatine retains alot of water in your muscles. go with a heavy dose of protein (you'll get your caloric intake here) and stick to a tablespoon of glutamine (L-Glutamine).
I started a bit overweight 197 in august, I'm at 185, my goal is 175 by december which at this rate, I'm due to surpass that but I don't want to go below 170. I've shed a good portion of the weight from my beer belly. My shoulders and back are starting to form up which I'm happy about. My thighs are stiff, especially my hamstrings.
Im not a supporting fan of creatine (even monohydrate). I'm a huge believer in protein in your diet and cycle glutamine in, 3months in 1month out. 1 a day vitamins are nice also on the regular (my breakfast supplement) as well as glucosamine. Glucosamine is a joint rehabilitator. If you're lifting you might as well keep your joints oiled. As you get older and your joint cartilage deteriorates (aka arthritis when you get old) you want to help prevent this especially when you are stacking weight. I cycle this 1month in 1week out. |
