Beat your stomach with a spatchula to break down the muscles so they grow back stronger! |

1) Balanced diet and lots of cardio work to burn off the fat.
2) Abdominal exercises to strengthen and build the ab muscles. |

Muscle burns fat. If you try losing a gut with no muscle on your body, you will do poorly.
More muscle demands more energy. Build those up and fix your diet and youll be golden.
Proper form in weight lifting means not arching your back and that takes a lot of abs. back in the day they didnt even think you needed to dedicate time to abs because they get such a huge workout from maintaing form.
If its JUST abs you want, you have to get below about 10% body fat so they are visible. |

| just abs would look stupid. Anyone working out should be going for a whole body thing. You would get almost no benefit from abs except some lower back stability. |

Its funny how ppl just go around saying "I want 6 packs" and do like 5000 crunches a day...then there is the amount of garbage machinary ppl are trying to sell on TV/ads and etc.... |

I know some people who just want huge shoulders or awesome calves...and its like that "Bicep Man" thing where ALL he did was get HUGE biceps. Looks stupid. Working out takes a lot of dedication and effort. Its why people always are impressed when you say you work out 3-4x a week. Because theyve tried it and quit because it was too hard.
People just think you wasted your time when you get 1 part looking good because it highlights how ty the rest of you is hehe. |

Well after few months of slacking im back on track.
Currently gaining weight untill I hit >220.
My current routeine is this:
http://www.leehayward.com/workout_programs/index.htm
It rotates severy 3 weeks. This is my 2nd cycle on this program and it rocks. After the 12 weeks all my main lifts (squats, bench, deadlift) grew significantly. And I was during my unsuccessful cutting phase also. (<2600 calories/day)
Now Im bulking so hopefully I will see some good size and strength gains. |
