Teams that will choke
Holland
Spain
Argentina
England
Portugal
Teams that will make it far and put up a good fight till the end:
Germany
Ivory Coast
Ghana
Italy
Team i think will win it
Brazil
only because all round Brazil have the team. they got Luis Fabiano and a lot of talented youngsters in all positions.
Argentina really just has Messi and the rest are good but not as good as say when you compare with Brazilian players such as Maicon. Argentina don't have a proper full back like Maicon. Brazil has Dani Alves and Maicon for each flank and then they have a Rafael who plays for Man Utd. |
Rafael is nowhere near ready. Maicon is good, Alves is but is also a hot head and you can easily get to him. Argentina have an excellent squad but maradona cannot motivate them to play and he has no tactics, but any squad with players such as higuain, messi, zanetti, mascherano, piatti & others will have a chance when it comes down to it.
Spain still have the togetherness of 2 years ago and I really think you'd be foolish to bet against them if they go in with a fully fit squad. England have some good players but too many factions, the chelsea players play for themselves, the man united too, lampard is ineffectual 90% of the time for us, Gerrard gets shoved out left to accomodate him, ferdinand was good, in 2002, not now, he's slow and will be shown up if we come up against pace and the best goalkeeper in the country won't play, that being Joe Hart. |

| oh and fabiano is a good player but he's not a romario, a ronaldo or a bebeto. He's also got a terrible attitude like robinho. |

As long as he's fit in time for June I don't care. A month isn't a long lay-off and it might actually do him good, because he'll be rested and fitter than if he'd played a whole season with no breaks. |

Paraguay - If (and it's a big if) Cabanas recovers from a gunshot wound to the head in time, I think they'll get out the group alive. I liked what I saw of them in qualifying, and they've got firepower up front.
|

i don't think there's an if. he's out. judging by that picture and by the interview he had, he would not be ready.
