Wow, that referee better have an armed escort when hes leaving the game tonight, he just cost SA any chance of perhaps going trough to the 2nd round. And that didnt look worthy of neither a red card or the penalty.
GoSpeedGo!
I hate Suarez.

except for the one time we got beaten by France and the amazing match against Holland back in 1994.
God dammit, before the Cup began I predicted this game would be Uru 3-0 SAF, and minutes before this match I thought I had exaggerated and said it'd be a draw :(

Nice dive by Suarez..., I HATE that aspect of the game. Guy barely got touched and he's already waving his arm for a foul before he hits the ground.
Was it a foul? Maybe. Was it worth the card? no. Why was the card given? Last man back?
I wanted SA to go through to the next round as well :(

The ireland team of 94 were all professional footballers. The swiss team are not.
You sure talk a lot of . Every single player on the Swiss squad plays for a professional European football club. They have 7 players in the German Bundesliga, 6 in the Swiss Super League, 4 in the Italian Serie A, 2 in the English Premiership, 2 in the French Ligue 1, and 1 in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Currently. I didn't think it was to difficult to understand.
It's difficult to understand because it's completely wrong. The loss against the USA was the only one in a run of about 48 matches. In their last warm-up game they beat Poland 6-0, and tell me any team that scores this kind of goal has no chemistry:
The real problem with Spain is that they have no Plan B, much like Barcelona. Their passing is sublime but sometimes it just isn't enough to crack a tough defence. None of the substitutions today really helped, and Jesus Navas in particular delivered a string of utterly awful crosses.
We've already seen with Inter Milan this season that controlling possession and dominating the play is not everything football is about. This Switzerland victory is another example of it, and don't be surprised if this World Cup is won by a side who don't dominate possession but who counter-attack with incredible efficiency.

I was in pissed today. I was walking up and down the lab cursing and not even paying attention to what i was doing.
