As for the Drogba incident: two people, including one ex-professional player, took well over a minute of deliberation from several camera angles to eventually conclude it probably wasn't a goal. Which reconfirms two of my points:
1) Video evidence is often inconclusive. And no, baselessly asserting that video calls will EASILY decide a decision does not remotely invalidate this point.
2) Stopping the game for minutes on end to deliberate will the flow of the sport up.
EDIT: Oh, and incidentally, I never said I'm unable to go back on my word. I said I'm happy to admit factual errors but unhappy to admit logical errors. I'm happy for New Zealand. It's hard to cheer for Italy when they use diving as a tactic. In fact, I hope Italy loses early so I don't have to see more of their bull.
