This might be a philosopical point, but I think the buildup is essential. Penalties alone are not all that exciting, the key is that they are the climax to a two hour fight. People should listen to Trance more, then they would realize how important the buildup is. |

For all possible reason the final must be Holland - Germany.
What kind of final would Holland - Argentinia (or Spain) be? Is there a multiple-decades-long rivalry between them? No! Have there been numerous legendary matches in previous tournaments between them? No! Can you make fun of the Dutch in Spanish? No! Do these guys know any jokes about the Dutch at all? No! Did a crazy Dutchman with a song about smurfs top the charts in Argentinia? No! |

and because the Netherlands have a history of choking. And then Germany would win another championship.

Nothing short of epic, they stopped the show at the venue i was at since nobody way paying attention anyway. It only continuoued after the penalties were over. Fuc, the whole club was feeling the pain when the ghanans missed all those penalties and the accumulative outrage over that handball was enough to bring the cops in...but they just called it break time and joined us on wathing the last few minutes :wtf:
I was really hoping Ghana would win but, oh well :( |

Wow, that was a REALLY good game!
I have nothing against Uruguay, I think they played very well however, I was rooting for Ghana because I think they worked very far into the cup and I applaud their heartfelt determination. |
