That is and isn't true.
They scored the first goal and not even a minute later they would have been level had the ref not been Stevie Wonder.
So instead of going in to the second half 2-2 they went in 2-1 which was expanded upon in the second half.
Don't get me wrong. They should have been able to do it regardless and Germany were by far the better team, but you could see England were on a roll at that point and could have run home with it had that goal been allowed.
I'm glad they didn't go through - the so called golden generation of the premiership needed a reality check and this is it if ever I saw it.
I hope that Terry, Ashley Cole, and Beckham finally off and realise they're not world class players.

i hope germany will be able to beat argentina. I think if they start off strong like they did with england, they'll be able to do it.
I'm predicting a brazil germany final this year. If not, it will be something klose to that :p
