Great! I'm starting right now. :)
EgosXII
managed to watch both games last night (had 3 hours sleep :p ), really shocked how argentina fell apart... was always clear they were going to try shut down messi, and germany did it well... it's the problem with a side with only offence as well, they just had a laughable defense, and the germans were on fire! How good was muller! can't believe the guy is 20 :eyes:
the paraguay, spain game was a pretty good contest, can't imagine the germans will have much trouble with the spaniards though, they're technically really great (passing etc was always spot on), but they seemed to have a lot of trouble pushing forward... with a solid german defense it's hard to imagine them coming through...
Looking like a netherlands-germany final, should be EPIC!
both seem to be pretty cautious, highly technically skilled, although germany really has an insane offense... blitzkrieg for sure.. Good to see what netherlands' strong defense can do to it though, after they beat uruguay :D !!

Come on man, that's a bit harsh. Oscar plays some pretty good stuff.

After watching a few soccer games I've come to appreciate how well sports I watch are run and officiated. Vuvuzela being just one prime example, no instant replay another, I could go on but you get the idea.
It's pretty clear this World Cup is the first time you've ever watched football for more than a few minutes, given that the vuvuzela is only a South African thing and is unknown in the rest of the world.
Although your laughable elitism says everything about how Americans treat sport. To you, it's merely entertainment and should be a slickly crafted product designed to generate the maximum amount of artificial excitement for the audience. The idea that football is the game of the people and that most of these South Africans are relatively very poor seems to have flown over your stupid balding ing head.

So here's the question. If Micheal Ballack had been able to play, would we see the same fantastic play from Germany?
I don't think so. Boatend should be awarded :toothless

Well, I imagine, although there are riots after basket-ball games here in America, you'll be hard pressed to find the sort of spoiling Black Dahlia slices to the cheeks following football matches in Europe. Not even vuvuzelas could taint the sport the way chav-hooligan Euro-trash has.

Could you guys tell the Germans from outside Bavaria to come here?
I mean, I like you Bavarians and all but I'm puzzled as to why you're the only people in Deutschland to venture into the depths of the Chill Out Room :conf:

I don't really see the connection to what we're talking about.
