| Uruguay should make their keeper walk home after that performance. Forlan goal was nice. Open style game just like I talked about, although probably too entertaining and too many goals for Woscar's liking. :stongue: |

Forlan has been absolutely sensational in this tournament.
Surely a front runner for the Player of tournament. |
The problem is that the award almost always goes to a player in the final, but after yet another great game tonight, I think he's done enough to be considered. |

as with pretty much every game this WC, second half was a winner, hell the last 15 minutes were the most exciting part! haha
Forlan definitely played well, but wow, he should have nailed that last shot, would have been legendary, most likely would have overshadowed tomorrow! haha
oh well, both uruguay and germany did well this time around, i think germany definitely deserved 3rd spot... managing that outcome with arguably their 3 most central players missing... wow! Definitely going to be an unstoppable force for the next 3 cups, if not longer!
Imagine Muller once he has some real experience! :eyes:
getting super-pumped for tmrw!!
COME ON ORANJE!!! |

| why were klose, podolski, and lahm missing? without lahm in the back they seemed much less organized it was difficult to watch at times. |

yeah. i'm bored. |
Fixed. There's no orange in the Dutch flag. The colour comes from their royal family :p
ps.: Incidentally, the Dutch anthem has something about killing the Spanish and that's sure going to make the anthem singing nonsense before the game all the more amusing tomorrow :D |

Officials said they have a cold. |

lol, Löw himself has a cold, probably gave it players in a way I do not want to imagine, especially not when considering this gif:
Hopefully talented players like Müller, Kroos, Badstuber, Özil or Kießling get the chance to develop in the next years. For this they need top level experience in a strong club, and one can only hope that trainers are far sighted enough to promote upcoming players instead of pumping insane amounts of money into the ass of an overpaid dick like Ronaldo, who incidentally did at this WC.
On that subject, also consider the pathetic display of Italy and then remember the fact that their top club, Inter, won the Champions League final without a single Italian player.
I strongly feel that football should be more about bringing a guy like Müller from the second (amateur) team to where he is now within a year (there should be countless other examples, I hear Barca does very good work as well) and less about buying someone for 80 Millions and paying him an equally insane amount. |

| Well to be fair, they are playing in the rain & cold in a foreign country. They're just bound to get ill that way. |
