What do the Greeks and FIFA's referees have in common? They're both on Germany's payroll.
Cahill's red card: bull. Australia not being awarded a penalty when Germany handballed in the box: bull. Australia not being awarded when German players twice kicked the ball off the pitch in anger: bull. Of course, Germany were the better team, but not four goals better. |
Blaming Australia's loss on the referee: Bull.
Germany was immensely superior in every aspect today, they could have scored 4 or more times in the first half, way before the referee started with the big ups.
That being said, Marco Rodriguez is one of the worst referees active today, even by Mexican standards. Why FIFA still calls on this cunt to referee on big tournaments is beyond me. |

| The Cahill red was harsh, admittedly, but the "handball" was clearly ball-to-hand and that tame header wasn't going in anyway. |

didn't look intentional and the ref didn't see it from his angle... so really, it's just part of the game. |

Great news:
| quote: | World Cup organising committee chairman Danny Jordaan says that a ban on vuvuzelas inside stadiums is under consideration following complaints about the instrument.
The constant loud buzzing generated by the vuvuzelas inside World Cup stadiums has been a prominent feature of the tournament, with opinion divided as to whether they have a positive impact on the atmosphere for games. While South Africa goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune complained that the vuvuzelas were not loud enough during the country's opening game against Mexico, some players have complained about the droning noise and broadcasters also have reservations.
Jordaan says the situation is being closely monitored by the organising committee and that a ban on the instrument could not be ruled out. "If there are grounds to do so, yes," Jordaan told BBC Sport. "We did say that if any land on the pitch in anger we will take action. "We've tried to get some order. We have asked for no vuvuzelas during national anthems or stadium announcements. It's difficult but we're trying to manage the best we can. "We've had some broadcasters and individuals (complaining) and it's something we are evaluating on an on-going basis. "I would prefer singing. It's always been a great generator of a wonderful atmosphere in stadiums and I would try to encourage them to sing. "In the days of the struggle (against apartheid) we were singing, all through our history it's our ability to sing that inspired and drove the emotions." |

Oh yeah, and that diving Turkish cunt got man of the match. How does that work? How can someone who got warned for cheating be lauded as the best player? Surely that mantle should include a consideration of sportsmanship too? |
you are an absolute moron. Germany played far better the australia this game.. You are lucky that it was only 4 goals. I counted six but australia simply got lucky twice. |
