Don't bother. Sleep at 10pm, get up at midnight. Go to sleep right after the match and get up at 4:25am. Then get another 3-4 hours after.
I'll be doing that tonight because it's Saturday tomorrow :D |

Lucky this game wasnt a big deal for netherlands, ing cut i missed out on Robben's cup finals debut, especially since he was so instrumental in the final stages... Psyched he's back in form though!
Should be an interesting game against slovakia seeing their performance against italy! If netherlands actually has their forwards in form (robben and van persie) they'll be unstoppable from now on though i reckon! :D

i was like that. I didn't sleep cos of a night flight home and landed at 5am, home by 6:30. too late to sleep so I tried to stay up for the game that day. i fell asleep for what seemed like an eternity during france/SA an it was only 17 minutes or something, didn't miss much though, then somehow i managed to get from 3:30pm til midnight before crashing out. it's not as much fun to watch at home though as surrounded by spanish, german, irish and slovaks. |

yeah i think that's the way to go, pretty naive to think i can overcome sleep lying in bed watching TV for 8 hrs after getting up at 7 that morning :p
I like that plan of multiple naps though... |

Switzerland (antifootball) qualifying in detriment of Spain (jogo bonito) a dream come true? Nonsense. It's like having Italy still in but with much less talent.
I want Chile to qualify as well, and it's possible for both of them to go through if Spain wins and Honduras beats or draws with the Swiss. It's a more likely scenario than you might think. :) |

i hope spain makes it.. but if they do they will likely be in the same bracket as the germans, english argentinians.
Damn we will have a great team against the US in the finals lol. I can see it now hah. |

Who mentioned the Swiss? If Chile beat Spain and then Honduras defeat Switzerland mercilessly, Chile and Honduras move on to the next round.

I was going to watch North Korea vs Ivory Coast (I live in Brazil so I'm definitely going to know the result of Brazil vs Portugal as it happens) but the game is so painful to watch I'm going to hit the hay, I pulled an all-nighter and I'm knackered. Please wake me up if:
- Portugal lose;
- Ivory Coast score enough goals to qualify (they've already scored one).
