Spain, Italy, and France all out in the group stage? Only you, Marco Rodriguez, can make this dream come true!
Go Chile, go Chile, go! :D |

YES!
While I do enjoy watching Spain play and have no ill feelings against them, to me, this is the year of the underdog non-European teams and I think it would be a nice change to shake things up a bit |

Fixed! :p
The only way Spain can advance is by winning. No other result will keep them in the standings. |

well actually i think....
spain can advance win loss or draw.
note that if spain loses...and honduras wins - so long as it maintains the goal differential over switzerland and honduras
:tongue2 |

Nah, son. If Honduras wins, Spain can still advance depending on their score with Chile.
[i.e. Honduras wins 1-0, and Spain loses 1-0 - Spain advances] |

Unless Switzerland loses, Spain is knocked out. And they are especially knocked out, if switzerland scores 2 or more goals and at least draws.
Hit up cupcalculator.com and plugin the numbers.
So yes, you're right.

in lol, netherlands v cameroon & japan v denmark showed here at 430am, and i decided to stay up... game started and my eyes kept closing and closing... made it till about 5 i reckon before i was KOd, woke up at about 7 neck completely ed up, but the replay was playing!
yeah i thought...
managed about 5 minutes of that :stongue:
Lucky this game wasnt a big deal for netherlands, ing cut i missed out on Robben's cup finals debut, especially since he was so instrumental in the final stages... Psyched he's back in form though!
Should be an interesting game against slovakia seeing their performance against italy! If netherlands actually has their forwards in form (robben and van persie) they'll be unstoppable from now on though i reckon! :D
I just needa figure out a better way to stay up all night!! |
