It's only an important element of the game because the rules allow it as an area to be exploited, as a professional sadly you have to do everything you can to benefit your team, however the game evidently was never thought of to be a test as to how good an actor you are, and the quicker this is stopped the better. |

not really. Losing to Germany isn't as bad as drawing with America, Algeria etc. There's a top tier of teams, maybe half a dozen in world football and if you lose to them, it's down to class. Germany looked weak at the back but we came in with a bad squad, poor fitness, lots of fatigue and problems within the squad. |
