| Actually i have a theory, the whole french team was paid to loose by the three french auto makers since the riots that are sure to rise up ater this wc disaster are bound to be nothing short of epic and if we know anything about rioting french people is that they love to burn up cars which means they will have to buy new ones which means auto makers get the money with which they bribed the football team with back, probably making some profit as well. |

There's a reason for it, it's not just a stupid idea. Both games are played at the same time to avoid any arrangements and to keep games competitive. If a team knows how a game has ended and the result favors them, then they might rest a lot of key players or play only for what they need to advance, etc. |
