At least I got a load of points for having Kawashima and Komano on my Fantasy Football squad. :p |
I lost 3 points with Honda  |

| I really enjoyed Spain's 2nd half. And I'm very glad Portugal is out. |

| Coentrao played awesome. I have a feeling some club outside of Portugal is going to pick him up after the Cup. |

So long as he's more Rui Costa and less Nuno Gomes, he might have a future in Serie A. |

| Coentrao is a great player, and one of the breakthrough players of this WC, but he's playing in a position that doesn't suit him too well. He would do so much better playing as a midfielder than as a defender since his defensive skills aren't so great as his offensive skills. Still, Portugal's best player by far. |

| I've made some changes but I dunno if i'm gonna go further and risk losing 3 points a time to gain more long-term, or if I'll just leave it be & see how it pans out. I'm beating Irectum anyway. |

He was a winger before, only became a left-back this season. Still, it's been by far his best season!
I've already wrote a lot about this game in another forum, don't feel like translating and posting it again. The goal seems marginally offside but it's an understandable call by the ref. Ronaldo lacked attitude, the team lacked a tiny extra bit of quality, the substitution of Almeida by Danny when Almeida was absolutely ON IT back-fired badly. And overall Spain was simply better, as expected.
My predictions for the Round of 16 games I posted a few pages back, have ALL become true... I've guessed every single game winner so far, expect Brazil to be world champions then. :\ |

what happened to Joao Moutinho? we've been hearing here how he's the next Paulo Sousa or Rui Costa and I didn't see him at all.
