He's just getting defensive. I hated ppl who brought whistles to clubs. What ever the reason its rather annoying, ppl who do it have little regard for other just want something to draw attention. Vuvuzela fall into this category. I'd feel the same way no matter what sport. Annoying is annoying.

And for the record, I find them slightly annoying. Not that big of a deal, though. Just ignore them after a while. I'm sure I'd hate them if I was there, though.
