De Jong should've been banned for months anyway. Back in a friendly he committed an awful lunge on Stuart Holden and put him out for 4 months. He's like Scholes, minus the actual skills.

I agree, except that I don't think in terms of football it was that poor, we did have quite a few clear cut chances for both sides. But the amount of dirty playing around was way too much.
As much as I like Holland I won't remember this team's playing style kindly at all.

now for my country, i don't see them placing higher than last place. drawing a game would be phenomenal in group stage. if poland won a single game in 2 years, the country would probably get a holiday, they'd rejoice as much as spain is today winning the world cup
