Yep, she's his gf, name is Sarah Brandner. |
So that's why his name means Pork-riser! |

| What do you think why Schweinsteiger is playing so well? Had Sarah promised every player a blowjob if they win we would have trashed Spain with half a dozen goals. |

I enjoy seeing Robben and it'll be interesting to see if he restricts ramos' forward movements and also since they were teammates if anything different is tried tactically by either. |
Don't count it, as both players play on the right wing. Robben will face Capdevila, who we could say is Spain's weak spot. Robben could be the key (even more than he already usually is) to win this game. Kuyt will play left side attack, restricting Ramos on that side. |

I think at the end of the day, all that it comes down to is winning the cup.
As a yank (and Yankees fan),
I thought it was a brilliant match....
I've never played organized soccer in my life.

And maybe that's why our opinions differ and I feel the opposite about all those sentences.
There was only one real shot on goal in the first half and less than 7 shots on target all match. The germans clearly choked and ball possession was actually 49 to 51 in spains favor so I have no idea why the everyone is saying spain dominated the possession or controlled the game.
Spain made the most of the corner and did well to make germany doubt themselves but it was not a great performance by either side. Both teams were just scared and played as such rather than going out to win the match.
Anyway here's a good one:

I think that stat is a bit misleading. I'd love to see where the Germans had possession, because they had nothing in the final third. If the Germans had 49% possession but it was all in their own half then Spain were clearly controlling it. |

Finally some real discussion :)
The posession may have been 51 to 49, but more often than not, it's not posession time but what you do with the ball that counts. Spain never plays effective, they play with a lot of stations from defense to forwards. And i just happen to love watching all those perfect flat passes, that look so easy, but aren't. Add to that all the ridiculous stuff they pulled off time and time again, and i was a lot more sold on Spain than Germany who just looked scared. It was more 50/50 for me before the match started. |
