There's still Argentina, Spain and Germany left, though they can meet only one in the final.

I think Argentina will win. Looking forward to the game tomorrow,
Luis Suárez will be an absolute hero in his country. I say good on him. He did what he needed to for his team to win and took the punishment for it.

can't wait for the game tonight/tmrw... going to be epiccc i reckon! 2 most in form teams :D
I'm thinking argentina ftw, but germany would probably be easier adversaries in the final :p
the whole handball thing was pretty ed up, but as was mentioned above ghana really should have converted... they were definitely robbed, but they had a few chances they failed to convert and at the end of the day that's that...
oh yeah, and i left the party i was at to go watch the game at half time... couldn't resist, entered the bar just as netherlands got their first, and i knew i'd made the right decision..
the brazilian dog who kicked robben's hamstring when he was on the ground deserves to be shot imo... luckily the ump saw and he got sent off, but .... :whip: :whip: :whip:

Had Suárez done that for Paraguay, and Larissa Riquelme stripped after the victory as she promised to do, he should totally get a free ride!
I saw some interviews with 3 players of Brazil right after the match. Despite the loss they really showed to be professionals. I wouldn't have blamed them not saying anthing especially to Dutch television.
Kaka said that we do not have a better team then Brazil, just we won this time. Think that's very true.
Even got the feeling that we feel a bit sorry for all the 190 million people of Brazil where football is like part of their life. During the game the Dutch commentator said in Brazil televisions will fly out of the window if they lose. After the game someone said today would be good to have a store in electronics in Rio...
By the way, think that Stekelenburg saved what would have been one of the most beautiful goals of the cup.

maybe... i think they've won it enough for them to lose once in a while though, LOL... tactics they used (like stomping robben) were hardly professional, or sportsmanly...
people like italy and brazil have had enough of a run for other teams to have a crack imo, and i think netherlands deserved it, their second half performance was great, brazil cracked.
in terms of beautiful goals, how great was the goal by ghana yesterday! was HUGE!!

lol we always get diego forlan. europa league, internationals, anything like that simply because he's much better at english than playing his football in england. He's the token go-to guy for interviews, kinda like Xabi Alonso, Pique & Cesc after spain games.

I just meant how they acted after the game, not during.
Think we deserved to win too.

I read diego forlan told Abreu not to do it ... not to kick the penalty the way he did ... I guess thats why they call him EL LOCO ABREU
Maybe if ghanas goalkeeper watched a little bit of Abreus youtube videos ... :stongue:

Be proud of one thing, all of you "big" teams are united in the fact that you're all diving and overacting scum and you keep getting worse at it. What makes that even more deplorable is the fact that it's now spread quite severely to the "small" nations too.
I can't remember the last time I watched an international football match where people actually played the game without a whole bunch of acting.
The question is really, if all of those players are quite capable of having very sportsmanlike matches in club football (and they do quite often), why are they all incapable of playing like that in international football?
Idiots like Ronaldo, Robben, every single Italian and so on always dive, that's a given, but even the decent players in club football become just like them in international football.
