If I was inclined to elaborate but I'm not. I could careless whether you find baseball is boring or not or whether you want to watch it. And that's the difference between me and you soccer fans. You can't take it when people criticize your sport. |

Same here. It's really not difficult to understand, just extremely painful to watch.
I'm happy that spain won because they played better but the match wasn't a classic by any means. The first half was completely forgettable and the second half was disjointed but at least it had moments of exitement.
Sys-J is right about England though - they have history on their shoulders not experience or trancendural skill. I think you also have to factor in the cold hard truth that England players are over-hyped and overpaid. So much of it is caused by the premiership being so good but that's because so many players are actually foreign, not English.
Then there's the issue that the premiership is such a money cow that coaches don't give a about the national team so burn the players right until the end of the season, for instance like Rooney. |
