Exciting game no doubt, but Slovakia did what Italy has been doing for a while, wasting time, faking, etc. Which proves again the need for video replays and clock stopping... even the ref stopped his own watch. Anyways.

| that last ten minutes was pure football, what italy should have been doing from the begininning.. I would love to see more football like that throughout this world cup. Germany is my team, i hope they will take it. |

It was a fantastic end to what was largely a poor game, broken up by persistent fouling and play acting from both teams.
Must say as a half italian I'm disappointed in going out in these circumstances but if it wakens up the incoming coach to the fact we can't keep on relying on the old stagers in these big tournaments then maybe its for the best.. |

Honda scores for Japan. He played for years for a club in my neighbourhood in the Dutch competition before he went to CSK Moscow this year. He was to good to keep unfortunately.
Now he's even the Japanese star player. |
