Every time England starts to get in the papers 19 management start the PR offensive.
What am I going about?
Every single time Rooney (or anyone else English but especially Rooney) has excelled, beckham some some neatly timed (staged) personally event that relegates them to back the back pages of the dailys.
And guess what? It-s England biggest match for nearly a decade, and I open up the yahoo page to find a big dedictaed section to Beckham.
Seriously, what the is he even there for?
He's not even on the bench. He shouldn't even be there.
But yet, he gets to lead the team out on to the field in his tacky suit.
Whenever there's a press opportunity he's the one they get a comment from even though he's the worst public speaker in the history of the game.
I guarantee you that if they win, he'll find a way (should I say 19 management will) to worm his way on to the front pages.
I am so ed off with his stain on the England game and team.
