No, the thermometer you're measuring the temperature with... |
I really have no reason to believe it was off by much, as it has never been in the past. It's a fairly nice digital room thermometer that my roommate uses.

Bummer. Ok, how about turning it on for a while then turning it off again, and so on... Is there some way you could automate that? (I have no idea why, but I have a mental image of cool gadgets, motors and pulleys...it looks really cool...highly doubtful it would work though) |
I'm not clever enough for that. :(

Christ. I'd go with the "Off" option. I have stuff in front of my heater in my bedroom and my room gets freezing by about 1AM. I sleep under four blankets, a bedspread and two comforters though, so I stay plenty warm at night. |
I'm getting a space heater tonight, and I've got some good blankets.

Oh and RJ, Sleep with your window open a smidgen to let the air circulate. Or if you have double windows sleep with the outside one open. |
Trust me, with as cold as it's about to be, that'd basically be inviting pneumonia again. The hot/cold dynamic is not good for the health... :( |
