As odd as it may sound, can you guys give me any advice on how to go about it?
:conf:
At this point, I am genuinely concerned - I didn't get back to sleep this morning at all just because I was thinking about this whole situation, and honestly - even though I know something has to be done, when I think about how to do anything, I draw a blank and get a little freaked out by the prospect... |
You're a good friend.
I'm thinking, why don't you ask him to hangout in the daytime and take him somewhere like a park, or a friend's house and tell him, "I'd like to talk to you about something," but try to have as I suggested before, that mutual friend who knows about his problem to help back you up, because your friend with the problem will most likely get defensive and say stuff like, "I don't have a drinking problem" and the like. Gotta keep a cool head and try to make him see what's going on. Casually and carefully mention what happened last night as a good example (if that was def. the case)
I hope you work out it somehow, man. I had to deal with something similar to this so I'm giving you the best to my knowledge.
