The bacon is already cooked by the time it gets stuffed into the turkey.
This is my moms recipe.
[leave bread out to dry 2 days or more before you're going to make the stuffing.]
soak bread in water and crumble up into bits.
Fry bacon, onions in frying pan.
put bacon & onion in a bowl with the bread and mix up. Add in salt, pepper, a little bit of garlic powder, seasoning salt and a tiiiiiiiiiny bit pr paprika.
shove into bird.
..i think...i might be forgetting it. I don't think I've actually made it myself. |
