funny you say that, because lately i've realized that i've totally lost that "omg i never want to move back to NY" feeling. maybe it's the "arctic" winter we've been dealing with, the fact that you've been looking for jobs all over, really missing my mom & friends (yes, all 2 of them) back there, etc... but for the first time i can say that the idea of moving back there does excite me, weird as that is.
NY is where it's at, I can't stand these long, harsh Michigan winters, I can imagine it being worst in Wisconsin. It especially sucks since I'm out on the road all day. I've been out here since August '05 and it's been ok, but living in the midwest has been so boring, the majority of the people seem so bland. You never know, you might move back one day. If my transfer back to the NY CVS chains doesn't work out in another year or so, I'm just going to have to leave my job and move back in with my parents temporarily till I find a new one.
-off topic-
I just heard this new Cherish track feat Young Joc on radio a couple of days ago, this is such a hot track, floor killer for real.

Pros of NYC:
Great nightlife. Last call is at 4 AM.
We're spoiled rotten with the names that come here to perform.
Lots of different cuisines to try
Great Mass Transit System
PIZZA
Cons of NYC:
Rent is really ridiculous in NYC.
Specifically for RJT:
-During the day for NFL, you just get the Jets on CBS and the Giants on FOX if neither team is playing a prime time game. This drove one of my friends who moved here crazy.
Pros of LA:
Bas & Clovis....Monday Night Social....Great Scene.
Weather is great and it's dry.
In and Out...They're slow but their burgers are really worth the wait
Cons of LA:
Traffic is horrific. Worst I've dealt with in the US. You'll need a car to get anywhere.

I'd vote west coast. There's just something about NYC that I've never really liked; I kind of find it to be far overrated than what everyone says. Though if you have personal reasons (see: Myra's reasons) for going, then it makes sense.
And here Rob had mentioned Seattle in the past. I see how it is! At least you guys will be here for a few days. :p

Wherever I move, if it is outside of Wisconsin I will absolutely require NFL Sunday Ticket.
I refuse to give up Packer games, and feel that if I'm going to live outside of Wisconsin I'm entitled access to 10-13 times more pro football.
